Karma Made Simple

“The responsibility for happiness and sorrow rests on our actions”.  That simplifies karma, doesn’t it.

Time to stop blaming, especially blaming the Benevolent One.  Turn within to create your happiness and to eliminate causing sorrow for yourself and anyone else…even subtly through thoughts.

Don’t take others sorrow into yourself, either.

It is not nearly as important to be able to sit in the “lotus position” as it is to take the spiritual position of the lotus, which is loving and detached.  A lotus flower sits above the muddy water from which it grows, never tainted by it.  Below the water, lies an intricate root system, which keeps the lotus flower deeply connected to the ecosystem in which it thrives.  This is a beautiful symbol for us human souls of what it’s like to be detached and at the same time engaged, connected, and deeply loving.

Simple fact…elevation is in store for those who accept total responsibility for creating their own happiness and sorrow. All it takes is to slow down, take a look at one’s self, instead of looking/blaming others and create the goodness, prosperity, health, and happiness you seek through being vigilant of your every thought, word and action.  By checking and changing your thoughts, words, and actions,  to be resonant with that which you wish to create, you  become  a happy, charitable soul!
