WORDS OF THE FATHER

Night class:

Now, both your sun and moon dynasties are being created again. No one else can know as much or become as pure as you do. When they hear that the Father has come, they will begin to remember Him. You will see all of that as you progress further. Hundreds of thousands and millions will continue to understand this. The atmosphere will be such. Everyone will become hopeless in the war at the end. Everyone will be touched. Your sound will spread. Heaven is being established, but there death of everyone is also prepared. However, that time will be such that there won’t even be time to choke. As you progress further, many here will understand a great deal. It isn’t that all of you (who exist now) will be here at that time. Some would have even died. Only those who were here in the previous cycle (at this time) will be here then. At that time, you will all be in remembrance of the one Father. The noise will also be reduced. You will then just continue to consider yourselves to be souls and remember the Father. You will observe all of this as detached observers. There will continue to be many painful calamities. Everyone will come to know that destruction is now to take place and that the world is to change. Reason says that destruction will take place when the bombs are dropped. They now continue to say to one another: Promise that you won’t drop bombs. However, all of those things have been invented for destruction. You children should remain very happy; you know that the new world is being created. You understand that only the Father establishes the new world. There will be no mention of sorrow there. That is called Paradise. Just as you have faith, in the same way, as you progress further, many others will have faith too. What happens is that those who are to have an experience will have many experiences as they progress further. At the end, you will stay on the pilgrimage of remembrance a great deal. Now, there is still some time left. If you don’t make full effort, your status will be reduced. You receive a good status by making effort. At that time, your stage will be very good. You will also have visions. Destruction will take place again as it has every cycle. Those who have faith and have knowledge of the cycle will remain happy. Achcha. Good night to the spiritual children.

Offering Opportunities to Experience Stillness & to Value it in the midst of Life

From the stars

I am serene; still in the midst of change.

In stillness, I find solutions.

I chose to move consciousness inside.

Drawing the energies of my mind into a concentrated point of awareness

I reclaim the moment.

I stop time.

Time stops for me.

In this moment, my energy is perfectly balanced, centered, still.

I fill this moment with the power of my concentrated awareness.

I hold stillness.

A reprieve is found in this still moment.

Energy is stored, concentrated.

I am stable, powerful, still, full.

Then slowly I release time.

To move once again at a pace in keeping with the stillness in my mind.

The world benefits.

Only When Still, Can We Experience the Subtle Inner State of Bliss~Upon Returning from India

A-drop-of-purity

Having recently returned from India and a spiritual sojourn at one of the purest pilgrimage spots ever, I welcome you into the thoughts of this pilgrim. Fortunate to journey back to this ‘forest of honey’ each year, over the last 9 years, each time I am taken deeper into the art of stillness and silence which are a balm for the soul. There is great satisfaction for the soul’s wellbeing in focusing upon itself and finding the peace and true rest that lie within.

Yet in a world of constant movement and sound, as personalities we take so much satisfaction from action, even actions than spring from compulsion! WHAT TO DO!!!

In a piece called The Art of Stillness by Pico Iyer, he points out that:

“In an age of speed, nothing could be more invigorating that going slow. In an age of distraction, nothing could feel more luxurious than paying attention. And in an age of constant movement, nothing is more urgent than sitting still.”

As one learns to meditate and focus the awareness inwards, a renewed sense of fulfillment is taken from stillness and silence. Stillness becomes an art when we master the fluidity to rise above the flux of the body and the turbulence in the mind.  When this happens, the desire to act, just to do something is lost.  Spiritual mastery becomes a series of experiences in which we learn to take joy and contentment from stillness.

As a great writer and yogi, Brother Jagdish Chandra said:

“The main state of mind now in the world is the wandering state of mind.  Thoughts go in many directions and consciousness is fragmented. Stillness is a settled state of mind. Stillness result in concentration which creates the experience of BLISS.  Only when still, can we experience the subtle inner state of bliss.”

And from Master Eckhart (1260-1327):

“Nothing in all creation is so like God as stillness.”

And from: the Upanishads (c.1000BC):

“Away from the chatter of the senses, from the restless wanderings of the mind, there is a quiet pool of stillness. the wise call this the highest state of being.”

Upon reflection of the intense sense of stillness I recently experienced during many hours of  group meditation, a course has been born to share with new friends and old alike.

I have created 3 sessions that include an Invitation to Contemplate and Write and Share about your present states of stillness vrs. movement and where you would like to go with it, in terms of slowing down thoughts, and experiencing more silence and stillness, various exercises to take you deeper, including music and gently guided meditation, and how to create an atmosphere that brings you into more silence.

Sessions will be held in various ‘venues’, both indoors and outdoors. For the  first session, we will meet in my home which has been a meditation sancturary for the past 10 years and has a built-in atmosphere of peace and tranquility to support you in this venture, the second and third sessions will start in my home and then we will transport to various outdoor locations near the ocean.

If this intrigues you, inspires you, or grabs you in anyway, please don’t hesitate to call me and sign up. 808-639-9436.  As a group, so much more can be accomplished than if one were to try this alone. Yet this will prepare you for the deep satisfaction of being able to enter the stillness and the silence on your own, whenever you choose to.

COURSE WILL BE GIVEN TWICE TO ACCOMODATE DIFFERENT SCHEDULES:

                                                                   IN MAY, 2019

           Last 3 Thursdays in May~the 16th, 23rd, and 30th

       from 4:30 pm to 6:30pm

         AND

           Last 3 Fridays in May~the 17th, 24th, and 31st from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00p.m.

STILLNESS REQUIRES COURAGE… Come fill your cup with both stillness and courage.

Shivalaya

Discovering Ego step by step

Exploring the Depth of Living

humble1

We have developed a society where the consciousness of individuality is prevalent.
We can only perceive separation from “me.”

As every individual realizes that to “play” in this world in a “smart fashion” is about making sure that “I” get things/privileges/ options/ positions/money/Paradise before “you” then, a “sharp” individual will make sure to get the “job done.”

This implies the “art” of convincing others that “I” am in the right path, that “I” am arriving someplace and at the same time, convincing myself that “I am happy.” 🙂

If we cannot achieve some goal that we have in mind, then there is a “guru” available for us who can show us how to get there… We have self-help books, we have “coaches,” we have subscriptions to the “top minds in business,” and of course, we have religions as well if our goal is beyond this “materialistic degraded world.”

Someone could…

Predestination and free will under a different consciousness

Exploring the Depth of Living

interdependence

When we have the consciousness of being separated from everything else as “individuals” only, then many things appear in a certain way to our understanding and consciousness.

For instance, the belief in “free will” is the support of that individuality. “I do things because I want.”
“God has given me free will.” “I get punished if I do not follow God’s rules,” etc.

Those beliefs are deep in our “normal” psyche.

Here is “I,” here is “God,” and there is “you” and everyone else. Separation.

Predestination is viewed as the denial of that individuality. In other words, “I am a puppet of destiny” rather than the “master of my own destiny.”

See the difference in both beliefs?

Why is that consciousness of individuality ingrained in us, if we could see that there is truly interdependence on everything that exists?

There cannot be a tree just by itself. A tree is…

The fear of predestination

Exploring the Depth of Living

A friend told me that she attended a retreat of a known “guru” and this guru explained that “Everything was predestined.” That was a major shock to some. My friend told me that one person was crying in disbelief.
Even though this explanation was only a mental idea, it was enough to trigger an emotional reaction. That explains our level of engagement with our minds and our need to find theoretical “truth” even though it may differ our own experience.
The “problem” of free will vs. predestination is a popular topic among thinkers and even regular folks. Movies are introducing this topic to the masses who strongly believed that they had “free will.”

Why is it that we cannot figure it out ourselves?
Mostly because we are stuck in a certain level of consciousness, the “I” who is separated from everything else. In separation we are unsure if destiny plays…

Mental Preparation for 2019

from a talk given in Tahiti, 29 December 2018

There are two perspectives on time.  One is the commonly known time of yesterday, today and tomorrow.  In Hindi the same word is used for yesterday and for tomorrow.  It is the same word for death also: Kāl.  For death we also say someone’s time has come.  The Tahitian word is tau, and this word refers to far distant time in both the future and the past.  This expresses the sense of time as a whole cycle where the future and the past meet and become one.

Time is a rotating phenomenon and in spiritual practice we rotate the cycle of time in the mind.  Life occurs in cycles.  Regular human experience is lived through the annual cycle of the seasons, religious and cultural festivals.  The diurnal 24 hour cycle is said to be the foundation…
