It is a cool afternoon here on Kauai and I am wishing you a fruitful and happy attitude towards whatever is in front of you in this very moment. Remember the power of Silence, step back into the self, to connect with the One Above, the Comforter of Hearts, and then take actions, speak, or think. This transforms your every thought, word, and action from ordinary to elevated. May you resonate with the sweet reminder below, that mental tiredness is a symptom of the self going against its own truth… Stop, reflect and remember that you are an eternal being, your true nature is of Light, Peace, and Love. We live in the age of ‘busy’. Busy people not only do a lot, they think a lot. The origins of ‘busy’ are mental. Mental tiredness is a symptom of the self going against the grain of the truth about the self. Being lost in thought, thinking constantly about things to do, what’s been done, what could have been done, what was done wrong, what should have been done but wasn’t, what others did, are doing, should do, must do, is tiring and a waste of energy, Another name for this is “Action Consciousness”. Meditation allows one to turn the eye of your attention and awareness within; through practice, gradually the mind becomes quiet and still. This inner awareness is guided by the true knowledge that you are not your body…you are a Soul…a tiny point of Light that embodies so many sterling qualities.Your original nature is of peace, love, power, joy, and bliss. The art and science of Raja Yoga Meditation is a wonderful practice which guides your mind into realizations and recognition of your true identity! Even one minute of awareness of your inner space changes things inside and outside! Realize that outer space is but a reflection of inner space. |
