Back in the day, someone asked Socrates where he would like to go. Socrates replied that he didn’t know for sure if there was a heaven or a hell and so he couldn’t choose between them.
What he reflected upon was this, stating that it was his only prayer: “Allow me to be alert wherever I am; for then whether I am in heaven or hell, it would be irrelevant; for when I am fully alert, hell disappears”.
Hell is the state of not being aware.
Hence, if one is fully aware, heaven appears.
Heaven is the state of being fully aware.
Such is the power of the mind, of thoughts, of inner states of being. A simple story with great implication.
May you always stay alert and ready to be in heaven. Keep the switch of awareness on.
Be where you want to be, by choosing carefully to stay aware.
One of the implications of this simple story is that if I choose to remain aware of who I am ~ the being of light, the eternal, unlimited soul, powerful and loving, the master almighty authority of this body then I will be in a state of truth and experience happiness!
Such is the power of truth. Hold fast to this truth. Choose your state of awareness. It is the most important choice you make each day. Remember as soon as you awake in the morning and for at least the first ten minutes of every day, that I the soul am a being of Light; I come from another world, a world of light, to bring light into this earthly world. As you meditate upon these thoughts, you will light up the way into your day.
Return to this thought often. Always remember who you are! It is the first lesson!

It has been such a wonder to be tucked away in the Hawaiian Islands in the middle of the Pacific Ocean for 27 years. The past 20 have been on the oldest and most serene island of the Hawaiian chain~the northern most island of Kauai.
Most people don't realize that Hawaii is made up of a chain of seven islands, sometimes related to the seven chakras of the human body. As Kauai sits at the top of the chain; it is often called the "crown" of the Hawaiian islands.
Who am I? I am a spiritual elder and practitioner of Raja Yoga Meditation. I am a healer of hearts because I have surrendered to the Almighty who has healed mine. I offer Spiritual Empowerment sessions that assist with building trust, faith, and strength in the Self.
