Follow the Light of the Eternal Sun~ Leave the Old World Behind and Create the New One

“Imbibe this very well and share with others. Wherever you came from, you were pure.” At present no one is pure. With that said, what are the most important questions to ask yourself in life?

Why am I doing this…Am I doing this with love…If not, why?

If we ask ourselves these questions, we are able to check our own blind spots. Best to check the self now when there is the great opportunity to change, rather than at the end of your life when you have run out of time!!!

So fall in love with your own efforts to be the highest version of yourself. You can not be alert to transforming without love…or else your movements become mechanical.

Results are important to note; you must not just be treading uphill. However, some results are very subtle.

How to cultivate this landscape of love which is the essence of every soul? How will I know that I am fully worthy of God’s Love? Let me accept this great challenge to accept my own worthiness and to know and feel love from the Supreme, who truly affirms again and again ~ you are my child, I am yours, and You Are Loved.

Keep yourself open to allow God to love you and allow your heart to feel it. Accepting this Divine love, I receive an enormous lift that gives me power to transform. Along with love from God is the importance of self love and respect.

Be in Love with the Self. Remember you are a unique and special soul. Deeply consider yourself to be a soul (not the body). Dive deep into the qualities of the soul and the treasures that lie within, especially your treasures of peace and love.

The more I’m connected with my Self and experience the truth that I am a soul, the less I want, need or take from anyone else, especially in the form of their praise and acknowledgement or their rejection or defamation. For this, I the soul, need a lot of silence to see the game of the ego and to discern what I am not, from what I truly am. It takes a lot of courage to own our own greatness.

Stop processing and start practicing the kind of awareness which leads to self-realization.

See your journey as a wonderful and interesting game. The game of emerging your original and eternal nature of love will take you beyond the unsustainable emotionality that has come from adopting the norms and standards of a world off kilter.

Play the game of love to create win-win scenes. Create a new standard that understands what is temporary, limited, and illusory from that which is real, eternal and unlimited.

Life, itself, will give you a lot of signals. For example~ any form of discomfort means something needs to be put right. Discomfort shows you what is calling out to be transformed (loved) in any moment.

Ask yourself, what methods do I have to keep me aware that I am a soul who is eternally and originally a being of peace and love?

For many of us, affirmations, times of silent meditation, and journaling are the practices which help me catch myself in order to keep me in touch with truth.

There are many creative self-triggers that can be used to keep your awareness high and your vibration loving, happy, and peaceful. For starters, pay attention not to be influenced by negative vibrations and atmospheres of the outer world. For this, some use doors as triggers…any door that you go through can be a signal to stay alert to carry across that threshold a strong sense of who you are as a loving, peaceful soul, immune to the vibrations that are causing others to be immersed in forms of negativity and sorrow. Instead carry your light of awareness with you, as you walk, consciously, through each door.

Remember this is a game of consciousness, stay light, play to win and help others win too. The new world we are creating is full of happy, loving souls who are currently trapped in this old world and often do not even realize it; they, too, can only thrive in the light of love!

Another method for remaining self-aware or soul-conscious, is to check and see what are the EXTRAS I’m carrying around in my head? Extras = baggage that weighs me down and takes me away from the awareness of my loving, peaceful self. Extras = reacting rather than responding, saying too much, thinking too much, being opinionated, being influenced by past experiences, associations, and memories.

Remember when you clear the past, you create the future! Again, think “game”~ this is a game of retraining the mind. Stay loving, be peaceful.

Many of us, try to create an external comfort zone and surround ourselves with only things we can manage easily. This is very limiting and actually a form of laziness. When we try to live out of our own comforts, we are living according to the games that the ego likes to play-our spiritual love is then comprised; we become careless and lose our alignment with truth.

What to do? This is a game of expanding our consciousness of true love and true peace. So we go deeper into our own spirituality, our inner sanctuary of peace. This is called living from the inside out, rather than the outside in. When I’m truly comfortable on the inside, I make peace with everything. Situations become more co-operative and true love and contentment can arise.

For this to become my stable state of consciousness, I must develop great familiarity with my inner world, my inner spirituality, my inner resources of peace and love. For this, I must turn to the Source when my own resources seem to be running low.

The Benevolent One is always available. Many souls have found that through a simple and profound practice of meditation called Raja Yoga or Remembrance, they can fill up with Universal Love and Light and Peace and be a powerful influencer in their own families, workplaces, and communities. As one remembers this Light and follows it constantly, one becomes not only a transformer of the self, but a transformer of the world.

This is a practice freely shared with all. It is truly user-friendly. To learn more, checkout:

How to Know and Use Your Subtle Powers

exotic flowerThere are 2 subtle powers within every human soul which contain the secret to success in life.  On the basis of your understanding of these two powers, your  life will move forward.  These powers cannot be measured by material instruments for they are powers that exist within the invisible, spiritual dimension of the soul.

The 2 subtle powers essential to success are the mind and the intellect which is also understood as inner knowing or conscience.

Let’s take a  look at the present condition of both the mind and the intellect: as to what their respective functions are, how they differ, and how they can work closely together to create self-mastery, peace, and contentment.

Taking up the subject of mind first – you may already realize the present condition of the mind is problematic. We have all experienced when all you wish for is to unwind, relax, and to have a little ‘peace of mind’ how the mind is anything but cooperative.  Some practices even suggest “killing the mind”.

What will be suggested here is a far cry from killing the mind! Instead let’s approach the mind  to discover how it functions best, for then there is the opportunity for both cooperation and success.  What many do not realize is that the mind is a tool of the soul.  It is not separate from the soul, its job is to assist the soul’s expression as a generator of thoughts and ideas!

So, if the mind’s main function is to continuously generate thoughts….then is it doing its job in the best way it possibly can* Unfortunately not,  for in these days of information overload and TMI … (too much information), scientists have found that the mind is generating twice as many thoughts every day, then it used to.  To make matters worse, most of these thoughts are repetitive and not even in our field of awareness!  No wonder at the end of a day, we often feel exhausted mentally.

The mind is also where emotions, desires, and sensations pop up.

What is missing from this job description of the mind is that there seems to be no system for the numbers of thoughts created and worse yet, seemingly, no quality control either!

Several years ago, scientists reported that on average, the human mind was generating 30,000 thoughts a day. Today, however, that has increased to 70,000 thoughts a day.  This more than doubling effect is due to the fact that the speed of life is increasing and the amount of information to be process ed has also increased and continues to increase. In a relaxed mind there are approximately 25 thoughts per minute; when the mind is anxious this can increase to 50 to 60 thoughts per minute.  This speed of thoughts causes the mind and the body to weaken.

It is the weakness of the mind that creates problems… and conversely, the power possible in the mind that creates solutions.

So what is the mechanism to turn this problem around** By what means can we guide the mind to produce energy by consistently generating pure, positive, and powerful thoughts**. Truly, the impact of the enormous power of positive thought has not been fully understood, even though psychology alludes to the power of positive thinking.  Once you learn the secret to guiding the mind, embedded in the soul, you will see how even one pure, powerful thought can perform great wonders.  What is needed to guide the mind is a strong intellect, the second subtle power of the soul.   The intellect is the wise place in the soul – the part of us that knows. It is also the part that in our modern times, has taken a back seat to the mind, which has become so loud. It is time to turn our attention to strengthening the authority of the inner intellect which can serve the mind as the mother holding the hand of her child to keep them both safe.

The mind has become so loud due to trying to operate in a vacuum without holding the hand of the intellect.  No one is to blame. This is due to the law of entropy which states that over time a mechanism just gets worn down and stops functioning as it did when it was in its original state.

Once the knowledge is given, this malfunctioning between the mind and the intellect can be repaired. So let us understand this part of the soul called the intellect  and its importance to our success in meditation and in life.  The intellect is the part of you that has the wisdom to discern and to decide.  These two powers are not contained in the mind.  The mind generates thoughts but does not have the role to discern or to choose.  It is the role of the intellect to guide the mind to which thoughts to contemplate, which to act on, and which thoughts to let go of. The intellect is the mind’s quality control response.  The intellect is able to discriminate between the real truth and the apparent truth, between things of temporary value and those of eternal value, and between the superficial and the subtle.

When you contemplate upon a true statement of thought with determined concentration, you create energy, awareness, and ultimately success.  You can even create a boundary of pure thoughts for others by thinking positive thoughts about them.  This works like a blessing. For if someone is a little weak, this boundary will become like a canopy of protection for that soul; it will become a means of safety or a fortress.  To create a powerful atmosphere through the spiritual vibrations of your thoughts is a very elevated form of service or karma yoga.power of words

When you think negatively, your mind is weakened and continues to lose power.  Even the body is affected and gets tired and even ill.  Most of us have experienced that if we become angry, the mind becomes extremely tired and the power of concentration is lost.  These are the pitfalls of a mind creating too many low quality thoughts distanced from its ‘mother’ the intellect.

Fast forward to today,  reflect upon the discriminating power and overall condition of the intellect of most souls. You will begin to understand how the intellect’s still, small voice has been ignored by the mind, for quite some time causing the  intellect  to withdraw, take a back seat, and leave the mind to its own devices.

Fact of life, most minds have been left without access to the wisdom and discernment power contained within the intellect.  Once this is recognized, you can begin remedying the situation.

A healthy, strong intellect is meant to guide, direct, and nourish the mind with elevated true thoughts. Since the wisdom of the intellect has been accumulated through experience and experimentation it adds great value to the mind, which lacks true discernment. Quite often, the wisdom of the intellect has come purely as a divine gift.   The wise intellect can heal the mind of obsessive compulsive thoughts, recurring negative thoughts, and untrue, unruly, and excessive thinking.  Therefore, it is very important to restore and strengthen the valuable connection between the mind and the intellect.

Meditation done with the awareness of the intellect’s ability to guide the mind is a way to heal this relationship between the mind and the intellect.

Science, psychologists and doctors, for the most part, have not been able to differentiate between the mind and intellect.  As you become more spiritually aware of yourself as a soul living in the body, the brain can be seen as a physical mechanism, like a computer, which the mind and intellect operate.  As you energize and empower your mind and intellect, they will in turn strengthen and re-energize your brain.  This will increase your overall power of concentration and well-being.

Raja Yoga meditation is a powerful, effective, and ancient method  which helps to slow down thoughts from a whopping 50 a minute to a manageable 10 a minute.  What many people who attempt to use meditation for stress reduction don’t realize is that it is not necessary to try to stop thinking; however, it is important for the intellect to select and feed the mind elevating,  truthful, and eternal thoughts!

Through Raja Yoga Meditation, not only is the mind controlled, but the intellect is developed and elevated.  As the intellect is used to assess thoughts, your faculty to understand deepens and your intuition becomes unshakable. Truth is nectar to the soul, for the soul thrives on deep knowledge, understanding, and awareness. Falsehood often comes disguised as truth to test your level of progress.

As the soul awakens, it comes to realize that it is up to I, the soul, to direct and discipline the mind.  As the intellect realizes it is powerful, it becomes sensitive to truth and very selective as to what it fills itself with.

With the awakening of the intellect, its power and abilities are further activated by understanding this knowledge:

I am not the body,

I am a  non-physical, eternal being of light,

I am the focus of powerful energy, within the body.

I am sovereign over the physical senses and desires of the body,

I am able to choose only those thoughts that will lead me to experience permanent happiness and contentment, instead of resorting to fleeting fixes.

Now I know that it is possible to allow only pure thoughts to pass into action.

With time, awareness, and practice, I become able to reach a state in which my every thought is peaceful and deliberate, rather than tense and anxious.

Lotus message if we master our thoughts, we master our lives

With my intellect awake, and each thought being evaluated before mistakes occur, I am able to achieve actual changes in my life that were impossible before.

During deep Raja Yoga meditation, the mind is soothed, slowed down, and nourished with truth.  This increases the strength and accuracy of the mind.  As your thoughts slow down, and you contemplate upon inner  peace, you will come to the wonderful realization that your natural and original state is peaceful.

You don’t always have to sit for Raja Yoga Meditation.  You can also practice keeping your mind peaceful while moving around. You will come to know a natural state of peace in action.

Experiment with this by feeding the mind peaceful thoughts while going through your day.

Start with your very first thoughts in the morning.  Feed wise, true thoughts from your intellect to your mind, such as I am a peaceful soul, I am a beloved child of God.  This can slow down the speed of your thinking.  Continue to emerge these wise and beautiful thoughts at least 5 times throughout the day.  The ‘storms of ordinary, negative, and debilitating thoughts’ in the mind will dissipate and eventually finish. Instead, you will feel overflowing love and stability begin to heal your body and mind, as well as your relationships.

Here is an example of a stream of thoughts to focus your mind and intellect upon.  Bring your awareness to the center of your forehead, the seat of the soul within the body, an  remind yourself who you are:

I am a sparkling point of light, like a star…I am peaceful… Peace is my true nature…through me the vibrations of peace are spreading out…I radiate peace all around me…

I am a loving soul…I am filled with a lot of love…I am a pure being…a child of the universe,  a child of God…I am floating in an Ocean of Love…The Supreme Being who is the Bestower of Happiness is showering me with Divine Love…

That One is also the Ocean of Peace…I am the child of the Ocean of Peace, I am being filled with Peace …my life is a precious gift from God.. I am emerging happiness and bliss. I am in super-sensuous joy.  I am a child of God.  God is mine…I belong to God…and God belongs to me…

I am a child of God

Doing What’s Good for the Soul to Create Lasting Happiness!

Featured

One of the many benefits of meditation is that through daily meditation one carves out time and space away from the drama of life.  This one aspect of switching out of the limited, everyday world of involvements with people, places, and things into the inner world allows the unlimited self to feel into new attitudes, reflections, and perspectives that will color and shape your outer world.  This is an ultimate form of creativity.  This is a space to reflect upon your life goals not just projects, career, and health, but to discern what is your ultimate course for happiness, eternal happiness. What is the highest aim you have for yourself, the soul, the cosmic navigator of your life. What direction will set you on your course for ultimate, everlasting happiness…

A great example of our time is the Dali Lama who says that “kindness is his religion”. This is the rudder of his ship that keeps his thoughts, words, and deeds on course. Your aim or goal may start out as simple as that. Meditation will assist you in staying true to your aim. For as you accumulate time in reflection and meditation, your thoughts will continue to decrease and slow down and you will see what patterns have been set in place that no longer usher you into the right seat.  When this begins to happen, you are in a better place to change the old patterns and create new habits that put you into the seat of self-determination, self-respect, and sovereignty.

At the end of the day –  check inside and see how this day added to or detracted from your feelings of positivity and wellness.  Where were you on course, where did you go off course… What situations, people, or tasks contributed to achieving your aim and which didn’t.  Keep an account, just as a successful business must keep accounts of profit and loss to stay out of the “red”.  Shakespeare said in one of his great plays: “All’s Well that Ends Well”. At the end of every day, ask yourself, did this day add to my account of joy or did it add to my account of sorrow? Use this end of the day reflection as a rudder to gauge what adjustments you can make to create more joy than sorrow tomorrow!  Adjustments usually involve attitude…what attitudes will I cultivate to arrive at my destination at the end of the day successfully…

To be successful at this, you must be willing to see yourself.

Ask yourself, am I willing to look into the mirror of my own heart?

If you are hesitant about looking at yourself…ask yourself another question: would I rather listen to my conscience/heart or to the ego?

Granted, it isn’t always easy to look at ourselves.  It’s much easier to see the faults of others, isn’t it?  Practically speaking, there’s not much chance that you can change anyone else. Therefore you may as well love yourself enough to make the changes in you that will bring joy and contentment.

When you have mercy and love for yourself, it makes it okay to see what mistakes are going on and to share them with a Higher Power, the One who has an overview of the situation and who has your best interests at heart!  Stay honest, clear your heart each night, and see how you will attract a shower of Divine Love and assistance as you open up each night. This kind of love makes the impossible possible.

Talk to yourself sweetly:  assure yourself that “I believe in Love and I believe I can change”.  Then you can do what is good for the soul.   Be willing to let the ego die and do what’s good for the soul!

Doing what is good for the soul can feel like a blow to the ego. In your meditations, practice being the witness, ie. the detached and loving observer. The muscle of awareness or the consciousness of being the observer, the loving witness will become stronger than the ego as it is practiced in meditation.  This awareness is your true power and will begin to be activated and available when you are in action during the day. As you witness yourself as you act through the body,  each day… as you become the observer and the doer at the same time, self-checking becomes automatic and natural.

While each individual’s aim or ultimate goal for themselves will be unique to them, a common denominator for all souls at this time is to reduce the amount of negativity in their lives in favor of creating more positivity.

A simple nightly ritual to help you with this process is to have the determined thought to let go of a weakness that you are aware of and to replace it with a virtue. This ritual can help turn the negative behavior around. For example, if you wish to let go of arrogance and its offshoots, a virtue to replace it with could be sweetness, cooperation, or humility. Rather than focus on the negative feelings and obstacles that arrogance has brought into your day, use your imagination to bring into your feelings what it could feel like to act sweetly, cooperatively, or humbly.

You may even wish to replay a scene from your day which didn’t turn out well.  See yourself replacing the old, weakening behavior pattern that emerged with its opposite…replace the arrogance with humilty, the anger with understanding and care, or the hurt or disappointment with a feeing of empowerment. Enjoy this contemplation.  Anchor in to the new feelings that may emerge, allow new patterns of response to come into play. This is using the same visualisation technique that successful athletes use regularly and frequently before a practice, a game or a match. As well as physically practicing the skills of their sport, successful athletes will also ‘see’ themselves going through the motions in detail. It all happens in the mind first. They see themselves playing the game successfully and then they go out and play to win! This is a great technique that you can use to your advantage during your nightly checking and in morning meditation as you set the tone of the day!

This is a wonderful opportunity to remind yourself that life itself can be seen as a game and that you are a player, an actor who is playing a part.  To play your part well, takes knowledge, love, determination, and lots of practice.  Be gentle and kind with yourself and the other players you encounter in this game of life.

Another end of the day reflection is to recognize what judgments or criticisms you  imposed upon yourself and/or others today .  Also check to see what judgments or criticisms were received by you from others.   In order to sleep with a clean and happy heart, visualise bathing it all away in a pristine pool or under a waterfall. Clean yourself in this way until you are left with only pure feelings of  compassion for yourself and others.

A powerful mantra that can be done seperately or in conjunction with the ‘bathing visualisation is: I am a pure soul and So-and-so (the soul that disturbed you) is also a pure soul.  Repeat it as many times as needed til it feels real and true and your negative thoughts/feelings have been washed away, transformed.

Be creative as you gain ease and success with your nightly ritual.  Take up  different themes.  For example, you may wish to bathe in the Ocean of Contentment and release all uncomfortable, unsatisfying feelings, complaints, and nagging inner voices.  As a soul, you are unlimited.  Whatever you focus upon will increase.  What will it be…contentment or discontentment… love or hurt…the choice is ultimately yours.

Self-checking is about lightning up and feeling great, not about blaming yourself (or others) or feeling guilty.

Let your nightly reflections be your rudder moving you easily to the shores of happiness, lightness, love, well-being and success

The Pilgrimage … A Letter of 330 Words to You, the Soul

light-body The Pilgrimage of Rememberance is a seed to explore.  It must be planted deep into your awareness in order to change your consciousness of who you are, who you belong to, and where you are going, and how to get there on this journey through Time and Eternity.

Who is the Guide on this Journey?  The best guide is the One who has the complete view, the clearest vision, and the conscious awareness of the beginning, middle and end of the jorney, which never really ends, but repeats as a cycle.  Think ‘cycle of life’, ‘cycle of time’, the ‘cycle of your own experiences, impressions, and actions’; which is all seeded indelibly in your soul, and manifests as the unique expression of you.

Seeds grow in darkness, below the surface of what is seen by the physical eye.   It is the spiritual eye, alone, which can see the seed of you, the soul. The spiritual eye, also known as the third eye, is opened by the One when you call out and when you are ready.

The blueprint of you is best observed and known in a detached state through the spiritual eye which has been opened through faith and divine knowledge.

When you the seed of light falls upon the fertile soil of consistent remembrance, personal talents which have been latent and hidden until now are uncovered to serve the world.

You are then ready to open your destiny by overcoming obstacles, which have shown up internally and externally through the dynamic with those closest to you and within your own thoughts and dreams.

You have been incubating for a long time, haven’t you!?

Now is the time to discover that you are a beloved, eternal soul.

Use your ways of going within to the center, to the essence…in solitude, away from all that you have ever known, away from the ordinary and from everyday matters.

This is how you manage to get clearer and clearer about everything! Learn to be alone and like it

Spinning the Right Thoughts

I want Peace

Who are you?  What vision do you have of yourself?  What recurring thoughts do you generate?  Are the feelings you create the sum total of who you are?

Using the power of imagination and creative thought to visualize and bring into being the unmanifest world of potential within yourself  is to work on the main thing you have control over~~~yourself!

The dialogue you have with yourself is the most important thing you have on this journey.  It ultimately determines your happiness and satisfaction levels as you interact in this world.

Watch your thoughts as you perform small tasks today.  Since we are all originally pure, elevated, happy, and spiritually powerful beings,  check to see if what you are thinking,on a regular basis is taking you into alignment with your original state.   Or do your thoughts bring you down into an uncomfortable, but familiar state? If so, develop the inner power to stop, reflect for a moment, and change the conversation in your head.

Refocus and have the determination to not feed yourself thoughts which bring you down, which compare yourself as better or worse than someone else or which create inner feelings of unworthiness or dislike towards the self or others.

To win this inner battle requires “letting go”.

Letting go is a beautiful state of mind to nurture and can bring you into freedom.

As you choose to look at yourself with self-respect, your cage door which was never really locked, will magically swing open.   This process does not have to be laborious!  As a matter of fact, it can be one in which you continue to become lighter and lighter, the more you are willing to let go of!

The more you are willing to open to change the better things will get for you!

This is a transistional time and in many ways, a fast-moving one.  Everyday in the scenes of life, change is swiftly appearing.  You have the opportunity to choose to play your part by creating beauty in your inner world and by making your home a place of peace.  Yes, that’s where it all begins.

Create a home that has a pure vibration.  In order to do this, begin at the level of thought.  Check the thoughts you are having and sending into the atmosphere of your home environment, into your food as you prepare it, and into those who share the space with you.

Begin by talking to yourself sweetly.  Talk to you, the soul, not you, the ego. This isn’t about creating a stronger sense of ego.  Drop the ego, just as you drop your shoes at the door of your dwelling.

Ask yourself…who am I?  (I am a soul, a guest in this world.)  Where did I come from?  (true answer: I came from a world of light, the home of all souls).  Why have I incarnated?  (I have entered this body in order to…) One answer, if you are willing to accept it, is that I have entered this body in order to bring light back to this world and to establish a heavenly world of happiness for all.

Your “sweet talk” will depend on your values.  What do you value?   What 2 values if lived by everyone on the planet right now, would bring about the most beneficial and significant changes?

Write your responses down; for here is a key to what is truly important to you.

At the end of the day, take account of the moments when you were really living from these two cherished values.  How did you feel?  What transpired around you?  How did others respond?  Now note the times that you slacked off and forgive yourself with the determination to be more aware of being in alignment with your truth tomorrow.

Of utmost importance is the willingness to see yourself and others clearly, in your original and pure state.  See the innocent two year old in all who you meet. Can you really see others as unlimited souls, not as limited bodies of flesh and bone?  This is the high bar you can set for yourself for it will change the quality of your life immensely!

Seeing and understanding the great loss you’ve caused to yourself and others by not keeping your vision clear might help you gather up the determination to begin seeing with “new eyes”. Don’t compromise yourself, don’t be slack when it comes to this!

Begin to identify the mistakes you’ve been making which have taken you away from your own divinity!

To make this value firm and to keep yourself accountable to it, you may even be willing to create a system to give up something that you really enjoy doing/eating/having when your focus slips.   This is especially effective when due to seeing a person as a body, you have given them some grief or difficulty or have taken grief or difficulty from them.  Either way doesn’t work in this stage of your development.   This is the moment to decide that in order to uproot this old, deep pattern of relating to souls as bodies, today I will forego enjoying …? or that relaxing cup of tea.  Use whatever leverage will help you think twice about doing the same thing tomorrow. Accountability is a great tool.  Having an accountability partner is also very useful.

Decide how to wean yourself from the old way of “seeing” to the new way of seeing.  You may make the agreement with yourself that if I can stay clear 80% of the time, tomorrow, I will allow myself to enjoy that cup of tea or that second piece of chocolate.  Work with yourself.  Set yourself doable goals.

Be sure to reward yourself when you’ve had a stretch of many hours or days of seeing others and yourself as you truly are, no matter what.  Some souls give you happiness, for the others you can choose to be merciful.  See them as under ‘an influence’ that is preventing their true nature from coming through.

When you have the strong spiritual aim to only give happiness and receive happiness, you will become willing to do whatever it takes to achieve this.

You will then become a blessing to everyone and yourself through your every thought, word, and deed.  You will become an elevated soul, a master almighty authority, and be amply rewarded by enjoying the coming age of peace and happiness upon the earth.  By staying in soul consciousness, you will receive great help, without asking,  from the Benevolent One.  The more you remember that, the more you will receive this Divine Energy that guides you along the path to your own divinity with grace and ease.

When obstacles arise, in the form of a negative thought or feeling about yourself or someone else, gently and firmly remind yourself:  I am a peaceful, loveful soul; this is my true nature.  They too are originally a peaceful, loveful soul.  Trust that they really are doing the best they can, right now.  By maintaining this vision, you are creating an opening for yourself and the other to move forward in a new way.

Look at your own conditioned responses honestly;  then remember your goal -keep it simple- don’t give sorrow to others and don’t take sorrow either.

As you affirm that you truly are a peaceful soul again and again and take action in your life not to let old patterns have their way; those conditioned patterns of response will melt away, for they do not belong to the true self.

You will become one who understands your own value and you will radiate a unique sparkle into the world!  Your presence will inspire others to be free from the constraints of ego.

Consistency is important.  Inconsistency breeds doubt in the self.  As you move along with the aim to restore your divinity, you will feel the pull of your original nature.  You will enjoy becoming a bestower of happiness.  This will become your anchor.

Know that efforts now, bring reward in the present and in your future world.   As you spread happiness and good wishes to others now, you are serving as an instrument to bring about a world of peace and love.

As you become the master of yourself today, this mastery becomes yours eternally.   As you attain self-sovereignty, you become worthy of a high status in your future lives.

It all comes down to spinning the right thoughts…I am a pure soul… my divine birthright is to be peaceful, happy, and powerful…   I value myself… I can respect others easily…Keep telling yourself these sweet truths and you will remain stable in your true self, a being of love and bliss.

on-giving-happiness

Self Mastery

Today I opened up a new deck of cards, called Self Mastery Cards!  I asked a question about destiny and creating a great fortune.  I asked what the next step towards this ultimate goal might be.

When I say “fortune” I am not referring only to wealth or prosperity, but also to spiritual fortune and well being, to the fortune of living in a peaceful, loving, and beauty-filled way.  The question referred also to the fortune of creating nourishing relationships and connections and the fortune of being attuned to Self as a soul, a magnificent spiritual being, connected to the Ultimate Source of Life, Love, Peace, and Happiness~~~

Not a small question~  Yet the answer was surprisingly simple~ I pulled:  Understanding which conveyed the message :

” To look deeper than the surface.  As a master, I seek the meaning that is hidden below.

I look behind the words and between the lines to find the true meaning of my world.”

As a master, as soon as the thought forms, the action must follow.  I found myself reflecting on the past week because so many things were “showing up” in an unfamiliar way and seemingly inaccurate way on the surface~ Interestingly it involved men, machines, and the intimate relationships that I have with those machines and their service providers, i.e. the car mechanic and the tech guy!!!  Much to understand here in retrospect.

First off, my car overheated unexpectedly, yet conveniently close to a friends’ home.  So I pulled over before the needle rose to the top of the gauge and they kindly brought me home.  Warm, benevolent universe assuaging some minor angst~Next day, I hitch hiked easily back to their home, and got my car over to my “trusty”? mechanic.  Busy, busy, busy in his one man shop, often grumpy and unwilling to schedule time and yet, a good mechanic, despite his style of overworking to the point of not being truly serviceable~  Well, he seemed quite “blaming” as he gave me his prognosis, later that afternoon.  He retorted: “well, you really drove the car hard, you blew the head gasket, it is only running on 3 cyclinders”!    WHEW~ and on top of that, he said “I don’t work on head gaskets, you won’t get your money  out of the car”  Without a doubt he was pointing out that this car was not worth working on and also not worth  wasting  any more time or money on ~!  SHOCK!  This was not just some car , this was my trusty white steed that galloped me happily from place to place.   Unnerved, I left his company dismayed, but with so much ahead of me, I put the car on the back burner in order to focus on the big event we were producing at the end of the week~I rented a car, in order to get around and escort our guest speaker, a delightful chap, a yogi of 18 years, and decidedly, a detached observer!  No time yet, to look deeper than the surface to see what was hidden below in my consciousness which was mirroring such dire circumstances.

As it turned out, after calling a friend to see if I should purchase her vehicle, she told me about an extremely reliable, honest, accurate, and trust-worthy mechanic named: Ernest!!! Meeting Ernest and his shop of helpers was like going to church, a church of kindness and upliftment.  He looked at the “white steed”  and assured me that it was not a blown head gasket and he could have us back on the road in a day’s time. Nice turn around from the prognosis of Freddy, the former mechanic from purgatory!  More to come about the outcome of the computer diagnosis, but now first things first.  Our big “Being with One” ws upon us and all attention was riveted there.

On the day of the event,   I finally had a chance to share the guided meditation which came to me as a download from Source, several months before.  As I read it to our guest speaker, I could feel something was amiss.

As gently as possible he said,” Cut it in half! ”  This could have been a good project on any other day, but on the day of the event~ WHEW~And then more mechanical problems, the printer would only print out part of it…and the computer stopped working!

Unopened messages from the universe were backing up on me…Much to get to the heart of and yet “the show must go on” was all I could think of.  There was no time to gracefully make the guest lunch, nor to feed myself as I “slaved” away at cutting back this beautiful meditation I had cherished.  The room in which I was editing felt like a sauna, but I was oblivious to heat, to hunger, to taking care of all the details that still needed attention to make our event a complete success!  The show must go on!  This was the surface feeling…underneath was a lot of angst~letting go, dieing  alive, fear, feeling not worthy, not good enough, not appreciated…all of this was suppressed.  The show must go on!  I must put on a good show, no matter what!

This took place in September, 2014.  I have since come to meditate on the fact that only body consciousness brings in the energy of fear!  If one is in the awareness of being a pure and peaceful soul, fear can not come to roost!

As the loving and lovely drama will have it, I have been practicing this big time today!  How successfully?  On a scale of 1 to 10, I, the soul says that I have achieved a score of 8.             Well done!

I did feel how much more comfortable it could be to flee the entire situation and the cast of characters that are dominating the physical environment I’m temporairly in.  Yet, the other side of me, has the strength to envision the benefit that could come out of all of it for Self and Others!!!

It is a test paper, a short-lived crucible of relationship that, in the past, I might have overly analyzed, wondering how to express the love that is inherent in every beat of our hearts.

Today I approach acceptance of all the roles that each character is playing out perfectly, including the ones I am acting out.  Progress, for sure in the delicate art of detachment and deep love.

I’m also recognizing the enormous impact of a single stray thought and how it affects others, even if not expressed.  It appears that only the amplification brought on by the crucible of close relationship could bring my attention to such fine detail for the purpose of clearing the traces and smudges of unkempt thoughts, right now, and in every subsequent moment!

Looking below the surface and understanding continues to be an important next step in Self Mastery.  Mastering myself does not include fixing others, fleeing the situation, or getting lost in the storm!

Mastery involves the Self and the Supreme Soul.  Being completely honest with Self and the Purifier, completely loving to this Benevolent One, and completely detached to the rest of it, i.e. the results that are being played out in this most amazing drama.

Mastery is about remembering who I am, who I belong to, and where I am going.

Sitting in self respect, not needing to prove I’m right or wrong, just knowing that the internal stance is to create the most harmony.  In the midst of it, it often looks like just the opposite might be going on.

Hold fast to giving no sorrow and taking no sorrow.  Stay in the comfort and contentment of the One who is cleaning you, the One who has complete altruistic love for all, and the One who urges me on at every step.

Face the Self and all else can be faced.send out the light of your soul

How to Exercise the Soul!

“We are fundamentally good, not fundamentally flawed, and we can trust this.”  Thank you Pema Chodron, for affirming this for all of us.  The Buddhists call the idea of a fixed identity “ego-clinging”.  The ego tries relentlessly to stand on solid ground in an ever-shifting world.  As you meditate,  notice how your awareness is liberated from old, limited patterns of thought.  Like the caterpillar which sheds its cocoon and emerges as a butterfly, the reflective soul sheds the limited “egoic self” and the thousand little opinions that have formed a “protective shell” and emerges its true, unlimited nature. As you sit quietly, ask yourself who is it that is listening, who is looking out through these eyes? Notice the internal stillness that exists within, beyond thoughts.  Do not let your little self run the show by limiting your eternal nature with thoughts that put you into a corner.  Ultimately, the soul exists beyond thought, it is, but it has been covered over by the limitations of small thinking.  Here are some thoughts that point you in the right direction…the direction of your eternal nature which Just Is.

I am Light.drishti-picture

I am a being of unlimited peace.

I am a beloved child of the Bestower of Love and Happiness.

I am a great soul.

I am a destroyer of obstacles for myself and others.

Bask in the eternal nature of who you are, become lost in love with the One who encourages the soul in its truth to be free.

Om Shanti~You are an unlimited peaceful soul, yes you!

How Can You See Your Own Blind Spots?

The beginning of the year is a great time to change-up and recreate patterns and habits that are’t working any more or that have become unproductive over a long period of time.  The first step is to have a good, long, look at what you do everyday that isn’t benefiting you or anyone else.

What needs changing won’t truly become conscious to you until you take time to “Stop and Look”. Once you find something that you do everyday that is of no value to you or anyone else, plan to restart, reset your day by beginning with something that is beneficial.

This doesn’t mean to take a different route to work or to have one cup of coffee instead of two, or even to start exercising. All of that is great, but that is more in the line of your physical life and your body.  The most powerful switch we can make is to shift from the default consciousness of the body to the true level  which means the new thing we choose to implement will be on the subtle level of thoughts, attitudes, perceptions, and mindsets.

Once you begin, you may find yourself really going for it by initiating an overhaul of worn out/overused perceptions of yourself, others, and even the very meaning of life itself. You may find yourself investigating your own reason d’etre… a fancy, French way of saying taking another look into the purpose of your life. Really? you might be thinking…where will all the energy come from for such a deep transformation? Through the course of these writings, you will begin to “see” where it comes from, in case you don’t already have a good inkling!

In order to switch, to make a change in consciousness, we must bring a new level of awareness to what is actually going on in our consciousness. This often includes the things we do daily that have become so unconscious/automatic, that it is as if they are happening to us, as if we were in a trance state. Sound familiar? This is an opportunity to choose one or two habits which are not bringing benefit into one or two habits that do, i.e. creating one or two beneficial habits. This is a beautiful act of self-creation…reinventing your self and your self image.

Meanwhile, still lurking in the background are questions: where will all this energy for self-transformation come from? How come I have not been able to get a grip on these things before? Why will this time be different?

Quantum Physics has scientifically shown that when we focus on something, anything, the very nature of giving it our attention in some way changes the object positively or negatively. Case in point is Dr. Emoto’s work with the frozen water crystals. He showed the world how intensely water crystals respond to positive statements as well as negative statements by creating either stunningly beautiful patterns or murky, distorted patterns in their crystalline structure. Similarly, we can witness ‘consciousness in action’ in our own lives, by simply noting how when we give positive attention to a plant, a child, or a problematic situation, a change happens over time that produces a desirable result.

In the Hindi language, there is actually a word for this; the words is “drishti” which essentially means vision. To “unpack” that a little more, it means that the way in which we look at someone or something has a definite effect on it,  be it a plant, animal, water crystals, or another human being. Change happens through our “drishti”. This is the power of the human soul; our vision is powerfully creative or powerfully destructive! Recognizing this power fully is great motivation for taking the challenging, first step of embracing full responsibility for our thoughts and our vision (drishti) about things in general.

How do we choose to see other humans, the situations we encounter, or even ourselves, especially ourselves? Do we consistently see the best in others or do we tend to focus on the worst? Are we stuck in the limited or have we developed a practice which allows us to enter the unlimited? Do we see another as a soul or only as a composite of facial expressions, muscles, bone structure, hair, and skin? Since the way we “see” actually impacts the well-being of what we are looking at, it is time to recognize and realize the importance of taking a good look at how we see ourselves, our aim in life, our objectives/goals, and our progress. A good place to begin is always with the Self, no matter what is going on externally!

This brings us to the crucial topic of self-image, or rather inner self image. What is the vision (drishti) that we hold within of our self? Often we are not aware of the very thing that is coloring our every thought, move, and feeling. We all know how dangerous a “blind spot”can be when we are driving, parking, or backing up. How much more dangerous it is to have a blind spot when it comes to the way we see ourselves on the inside.

Taking a look at what we do on a daily basis that may not be beneficial actually has its roots in that unknown entity, the inner self-image. What a wonderful opportunity to have an inner journey into the archive of images that you, unwittingly have collected over time and which have been making you tick without your conscious knowledge, much less agreement.

VERY IMPORTANT: please remember on this journey, no one is to blame! The main thing is to begin. It may take many journeys into yourself. Allow yourself the time to dive deep into your inner world. There are many methods to do this; you can explore your own depth through guided meditation, silent contemplation, stream of consciousness writing, or even by noting down you dreams in a journal. You may find a combination of the above works best for you.
WARNING: Consistency of effort is needed. Consistency is very beneficial to the Self.

Once you identify the images you are holding of yourself, you have the opportunity to change and update these images with ones that you consciously choose, based on spiritual knowledge and worthy goals which give direction to the unlimited being that you are. You are giving yourself such an enormous gift if you choose to take this challenge. You are giving yourself the chance to restore your own innocence and self-sovereignty.

Very often the images we are holding subconsciously were not self chosen, but rather picked up as an innocent, trusting child from the culture, our family, our schooling, our friends and enemies, and even TV, movies, and other forms of mass media. It is time to do some inner house cleaning and rummage through the backlog of what has been collected in your life.

Surrender what you would not consciously choose now; i.e. “CANCEL AND DELETE” thoughts that don’t support your new vision, your new drishti for yourself,  Move the ego over and out to allow the Soul who you are to guide the ship!

Have a lot of fun with this!

I sincerely hope, you take one step in this direction, for when you take the first step,  then the Highest on High irresistibly takes a 1,000 steps towards you for your assistance. Make this into an experiment. You and your consciousness are the “subject”. The outcome of this experiment is unknown; however if you begin making the effort in the direction of benefiting yourself and having compassion and mercy on yourself, it’s a guarantee you will love the results!

From the Land of Sorrow to the Land of Happiness

rainbowMany are searching.  We search for the secret to happiness, for the way of the peaceful pilgrim, for the known and unknown secrets to self progress.  Understanding is just the first baby step. Knowing who I am is the predominant key. The most sorrow we can make for ourselves is when we depend on other human bodies for happiness, love, security, etc.   Have you noticed this? The human body, you may be giving all your love to, may not know who she/he truly is.  Double Jeopardy!!!

Depending on others is so easy and so dis-empowering for those of us who seek self-sovereignty.

Oh but love, the richest experience of life: something everyone seeks, finds, and then often loses in the ever-changing  world of humans being bodies.  The sweetest thing is to fill one’s Self with the everlasting, overflowing love of the Highest on High.  As a soul, my true original self, I can develop a very deep relationship with this One, in whatever form I need at the moment.  Mother Love is there, Father’s Guidance is there, Companionship is ever ready, the Beloved need only be invoked.

This is the spiritualization of Love. What does it mean to make something more spiritual? Is it possible to spiritualize even our relationship with the Almighty?

I am not referring to asking, pleading, begging, or even praying for love from the One.

I am suggesting that we embrace the knowledge that we, as children of this One, have the right to all the treasures that Our Mother, Father, Beloved wants to give to us.  Spirituality comes to mean filling yourself with God’s Love and moving in the world according to that!  This does require effort.

It means paying full attention to keeping my heart clean, clear, and open so I can receive everything that God is offering, keeping my eye on the wondrous gifts, which are constantly appearing, which are truly meant for me!

No matter what test is in front of me, only see and feel God’s Love to get through it.

The only effort is to catch what God is giving in each moment…the rest becomes easy.  The secret effort is to spiritualize everything. Check yourself to see if what you’re going to do is in good relationship with the Highest on High.

Even something as simple as having your morning brew can be spiritualized when  you  remember the truth that you are a deeply beloved child and that you can claim love from your Beloved Parent today as you sip your cup of joe!  You can remember that with My Parent, the impossible becomes possible.   Be open to the wonders that will  show up with this awareness throughout the day!  Your main effort is to remember, remind yourself~ this is true, and to give thanks!

After all, Life is consciousness.  So check to see where yours is at!

Most of us have not paid a lot of attention to our state of consciousness, but it is not yet too late to begin!  You can change it as soon as you notice it  going in a direction not worthy of a highest on high child.  Granted much of our experiences in the world, up to this point, may not have been worthy of a child of the Highest on High.  Therefore, as a self-sovereign, we must claim it by changing our thoughts and changing our direction from living in the land of sorrow to entering into the new world of Happiness.

To change thoughts,  keep the Highest on High close by.

The powerful rays of the Beloved’s Love and Purity will be your guide.  Its up to you  how you harness your consciousness…a good practice is to talk to yourself lovingly and firmly.  Take time, preferable in the early morning to sit and be with yourself.

Once you have your clear attention and have calmed the chattering mind down, tell yourself “I am an imperishable soul and I am listening to my Mother/ Father.”

Then wait patiently, pen in hand and write what comes into your mind.

Look for the jewels of truth that the Holy of Holies bestows upon you.   Now live according to this awareness; make this knowledge stick in your heart.  Give it a very special place within, from which you cannot deviate. You have to make effort to have remembrance and change your consciousness.

Have this type of spiritual conversation with yourself.

You are now becoming soul conscious.  See your invisible face in the mirror of your heart!  Know that you are a living, eternal being, live with self respect, self honor. Refrain from talking down to yourself.  Check and change is good, but let it be swift and loving.

The highest of all is the communion between you, the Soul and your Beloved Parent.

Only this awareness, this union will take you from the Land of Sorrow to the Land of Happiness.   Then you will be free.  You are now preparing yourself for this Land of Liberation.

Check and see how much freedom in life you presently have.

Ask the Beloved how to increase it?   How to emerge your original and true nature?  This is the stuff of Raja Yoga.  This is a teaching that directly addresses our time, now.

Many are searching; therefore Our Parent has come to bring us benefit, to give us direction, and to bring us into union.

7 Spiritual Questions to Turn Your Life Around!

Featured Image -- 6103What are your 7 big questions?  Have you made a list?  I have…here they are? Do you resonate? Would you add something?

1.  How do you know when you have recognized God as She/He really is?

2.  What does every soul long for?

3.  How can unshakeable peace be attained?

4.  How does being influenced by others hamper your personal journey and how can you protect your Self from this  influence?

5.  Do you know God as the Bestower of Happiness, the Remover of Sorrow, the Ocean of Love, and the Friend? Do you know yourself as the beloved child of the Supreme Divine Parent?

6.  Or has your life become such a hustle and bustle that there is no time left for you to develop this relationship?

7. What type of experiences do most people gravitate towards?

These are the deep questions which many people never consciously think to ask, yet on a subconscious level they may be alive and kicking.   You deserve a big congratulations for choosing to read this far and for your willingness to take a look at the possibility of  going beyond the hustle and bustle of life, beyond our deep societal programing and conditioning, and beyond the loss of our innocence at a young age, which has lead to the the  inevitable “rule of the ego” which has distracted  most of us from a quest such as this.

In order to answer these questions and turn one’s life around, it is a valuable practice to set aside the limiting perceptions and pre-conceptions of our own ego-dominated worlds, for longer and longer periods of time everyday.

Surrender the known in order to know the vast unknown and come into  your own, subtle, inner world.

One of the best ways to do this is through meditation.

Your ego and mine, have been doing their very best to keep us alive,  yet, at the same time it is our ego which  has also sadly separated us from the Truth about our Selves.  Our egos have masked our true Selves and the real questions of life which could reveal real answers.

While being held captive by our egos, we have become preoccupied with temporary, perishable, and limited pleasures, powers, and attainments.  The “true north” of our deepest longings, our truest contentment, and our lasting love and happiness has gone unnoticed and undiscovered.

Many souls look to the “after-life” for the type of fulfillment the answers to these questions can brings.

Without a doubt, I have been blessed and beset by difficulties and battles entrenched so deeply within myself that they wouldn’t budge, no matter what tools I used or how much service I thought I was doing.  Fortunately, very fortunately, these difficulties were also accompanied by an intense desire to be happy, loving, and kind.  The quandary of these two extremes created a subtle openness within,  far below the “ego’s watch”.

When I began to ask these valuable questions, I found some satisfying answers.   One of the answers came through the daily practice of Raja Yoga Meditation.   The other “godsend” has been the daily study of divine principles which has given me a deeper understanding of the soul’s battle between illusion and reality!

I’ve come to understand how important it is to pass blessings along to others, rather than compete and compare myself to others.   It is in the spirit of a blessing that I introduce you to one of our great present-day wisdom-keepers, who has blessed me in so many ways :  Dadi Janki, the 103-year-old head of the Brahma Kumariis World Spiritual University.

Dadi, as she is affectionately called, has been tested and found to have the most stable mind on the planet, at this time.  She has traveled all across the globe to share the truths and wisdom she has lived by.

One of her widely read books, Companion of God, is a simple guide to living life as a happy, fulfilled soul.  It is from this book that I share:

“As an actor on the stage of life, you need to detach yourself from the roles you are playing and get in touch with the part of you that is not an act.”

What Dadi is saying is to get in touch with you, the soul, the eternal you, the part of you that is not an act.

Meditation is your tool of discovery to discover the untapped treasures of the soul.

The part of us that is perishable and mostly running the show is kept unhappy by looking outside for true love, respect, and peace.   The present state of our world is one of  thirsting for deep relationship with the Divine, while fearing loss, annihilation, war, illness, and death.  Have you noticed that most people, today, seem to be sadly lacking in what truly makes one whole and sane.

This state of affairs is largely the result of allowing the Self to be influenced by thinking and believing that our true contentment could be found externally.

As Dadi Janki gently warns us:  “The world is a supermarket of sorrow. Don’t buy any! A good spiritual education teaches you how to be discerning in your shopping.”

How will having a spiritual education help make meaning out of your “movie”?  How will reflecting on the bigger picture turn  your personal journey around?

I invite you to take in deeply the following wisdom which identify  a condition, too often considered completely “normal”, which underpin the cause of so much unnecessary suffering.

In Dadi’s words: “Our ability to cope is hampered by thinking too much about other people…This causes problems in  the mental digestive system.  The best mental ‘antacid’ is in-depth spiritual study…( which leads to healthy introspection).  This, plus a  regular practice of self-awareness, penetrates the mind very deeply, dislodging emotional pain.”

You may be wondering how does one’s consciousness change by focusing on the spiritual aspects of the self instead of being caught up in thinking about others?  To quote Dadi again:

“An enlightened person understands that there is nothing to be gained by thinking about others.”

She suggest that a  better use of one’s time is to concentrate on the Source of Love.  Turning to the Source and to fill the Self with Divine Love is a deep aspect of Raja Yoga meditation.  This form of meditation directs one’s attention inward to the Self in order to connect again and again to the Ocean of Love.

This change of direction in our attention comforts the heart, reduces tension and restores clarity,   I invite you to carve out some time in your day to meditate on the Source of Love, and note what happens.

Dadi also encourages us to send  good wishes and pure feelings to others.  Creating this habit (in ourselves) will alleviate the need to think confused and negative thoughts any further about a person or a situation.   This one change can ultimately resolve the situations we find ourselves in and relieve us from the vicious cycle of negative, unproductive thoughts about “why”, “when”, and “how”.  Whenever you are in internal/external conflict with someone…begin to remind yourself that deep within, they too are a pure soul.

Continually repeat within that: ‘So and So is a pure soul’, each time your mind spirals into negativity about them.  This is guaranteed to resolve the situation which is more than likely a karmic account created in the past by your own actions.

Instead of sending worried, angry, resentful, critical, and /or doubtful thoughts to another, send love and pure wishes.  The truth of this can be felt at the end of the day, as one feels light, free, and peaceful.  To the one who recognizes it, putting this one jewel into practice is like receiving a key to changing the course of your life.  This type of wisdom is life-giving, universal, non-denominational, and very practical.  Best of all, it gets positive results.

May the truth of this jewel,  allow you to understand the nature of these times and the nature of you, the soul,  in a new way.

More wisdom from the heart of Dadi Janki:   “Right now, what the soul really needs most is power.  Having been through birth after birth, accumulating rubbish along the way, the soul is burdened and depleted and therefore unable to perform to its greatest potential.  When we use our inner resources in the right way, power is gained, enabling us to stay with God and to reach our destination. Wasting the mind on ordinary, mundane, and conditioned thinking is a waste of time and energy.  Souls leave the path; they leave God, because they have wasted their thoughts, words, and breath in this way. Blaming others and complaining are just making excuses.

This is a big mistake which wastes more energy and causes more loss of power. There isn’t time to behave in this way any more.

Understand that we need power and start cultivating it.  As power develops, so will love.” You may be pondering how can I restore the original power of my soul?  Once again, I invite you to turn inward to your existence as a precious, peaceful soul, then turn to the Beloved who knows you fully and sees you in your perfection.

A simple 3 step method for this can be used:

1.  Find a time that works best for you every day.   Start out with a moment or two, and gradually build up to ten to twenty minutes each day, to stop and become still and silent within, connecting with the energy of you, as a peaceful soul.   Many souls find that a clear time of day that supports this inner movement is early in the morning.  Others may choose the beautiful moments created by the setting sun or the winding down time, right before sleep.

Take the thought, “I am a peaceful soul” and hold it, firmly and confidently, in your mind. As you focus on this one thought it will gradually release its essence into your consciousness; you will truly feel the peace that lies within.  Day by day, this thought will bring you into deeper and deeper peace, into the inner ocean of unshakeable peace which exists, intact, within you.

2.  As you hold this thought, wasteful thoughts may try to distract you.  Surrender each thought to the Beloved or the Higher Power.  Give the distracting thoughts and energy no attention, no matter how great the attraction or force with which they throw themselves at you may be.

Release, release, release, all wasteful thoughts, feelings, and opinions.  Surrender, surrender, surrender. Melt into Peace.  Surrender your mind to the Beloved who awaits you with the tenderest of love and peace.

3.  Whenever you feel distracted, return to the empowering thought about your true essence: “I am a peaceful soul. Peace is my true nature.”  As you continue this practice, you will find that when you return to the everyday world, you will be able to carry the awareness of your essence of peace with you.  This awareness will become more stable and unshakeable as you give yourself permission to stop often during the day, if only for a few moments and go within. You will accumulate the power to stop the hectic spinning of the world and return to your true nature.  This is one of the most important powers of the soul, the ability “to stop” in midstream, pack up your thoughts, and come back to peace.

Take this opportunity to fill completely from the Fountain of all Goodness and Virtue, the Fountain of Love and Divine Power.  Visualize yourself being showered upon from this fountain or immersed and floating in the Ocean of Love.

Here’s a Peaceful Affirmation which you may write out by hand and place in various spots in your home and workplace, to reinforce the remembrance of who you truly are:

I remember to be still and to bask in my inner ocean of silence and peace.

I find a time and place in which I am there for my Self, every day.

I am true to this commitment to my Self and this practice of peace.

My spiritual energy is being charged and renewed every day

I enjoy these precious moments of time in which I stop and dip into the ocean of peace within.

I find I can go deeper and deeper into  peace each day.
